This week has been a long one. We have had many
opportunities to do small acts of service in the community. From sorting
clothes at the Salvation Army to shredding rags at the St. Vincent De Pauls.
All in all it has been good.
This morning we had the blessed opportunity to serve and
help out a taxi driver fix a tire. It was good to get a little greased up
before the library. Yesterday we were able to walk an elderly lady’s dog and
wash her car. Her name is Grazna from Poland.
One of the down sides to this week was that one of the
investigators that we have been working with has dropped us it seems. We tried
to stop by on Monday and we left a pamphlet in the door. We go back several
more days and on Sunday the same pamphlet was in the door. A bit of a bummer.
Hopefully, we can get back into contact with him and teach him the fullness of
the Restored Gospel.
Transfer news came in and it looks l will be staying in
Karratha for a little while longer. Another transfer or two at least.
President Benelleck will be in the mission starting around
the 20th of the month. I have loved serving with and learning from the Fifes.
They are some of the most spiritually in-tune people I have ever met. I hope to
be able to drop by into one of their Institute classes sometime.
Hope all is well back home.
