Hey Gang.
It has been a busy week. The flies are back, the heat is
coming and no one is prepared. We are inching into the 30's.
Elder Harris and I
have been working our butts off. One of the biggest blessings was seeing two
less actives we are teaching actually make it to church! Other than that the
week has had its ups and downs. The area that we are serving in has heaps of
potential but making that into reality is always the hard part. We had to drop
most of our teaching pool because they express lack of interest. A big problem that we see is that people don't want to put in the work and keep commitments to
fulfill there desire of getting to know God.
Lately, my studies have been all
over the place but I got around to reading Doctrine and Covenants 82. It is a really
good section, I would highly recommend it.
Our mission president has been
pushing us to listen to the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square (motab) the rest
of the transfer. It has been a good switch.
Some of the other things we are doing is to come up with ideas for the Christmas season for better ways of proselyting.
Not much
else at the moment. At some point we will be mvoing areas with some of the other areas. There will be a lot of exchanges coming up. We had 2 exchanges with the Girrawheen area; Elders
Moefui and Strihavka. They are the best. Samoan and Austrian.
I hope all is well
back home.
Love you all.
Chance
